CAIRO - 1 July 2018: Palestinian ambassador to Egypt sent his greetings to President Abdel Fatah al-Sisi and all Egyptians on the fifth anniversary of the June 30 Revolution, wishing that Egypt remains safe, stable and civilized.

As more than ninety million Egyptians were commemorating the anniversary of the June 30 revolution which took place in 2013, Palestinian Ambassador Dyab el-Louh talked with Egypt Today about his opinion on Egypt post-June events.

“First of all, I’d like to congratulate the Egyptian army and people who stood united against terrorists and enemies of the state,” Louh said.

He stressed that the last four years have witnessed an unprecedented progress at various levels under the leadership of President Sisi, adding that “Egypt is fighting terrorism on behalf of the entire world.”

Palestinians have voiced their absolute support to the Egyptian will since the first moments on June 30, 2013, manifesting that President Sisi and the Egyptian authorities which “preserved the Egyptian identity are fully hailed by all Palestinian factions.”

Millions of Egyptians took to the streets to protest against the outlawed Muslim Brotherhood group and its affiliated President Mohamed Morsi who ruled Egypt for only 360 days.

Ambassador Louh hailed the 50-day opening of Rafah Border Crossing. “The Rafah crossing will be opened on Monday, after a three-day closure for security reasons.”
