Interior minister: Nation's martyrs gave wonderful example of sacrifice

CAIRO - 11 June 2018: Minister of Interior Magdy Abdel Ghafar asserted that the nation's martyrs have given the most wonderful example by sacrificing their lives for the sake of their country so as to be able to enjoy security and stability.

The minister's remarks were made at a Ramadan iftar banquet (meal to break the fast) held for families of the police martyrs in the presence of top security officials.

The minister extended his greetings on the occasion of the approaching Ramadan Bairam to the families of the martyrs, asserting that their sacrifices would be cherished by the coming generations.

He asserted that Egyptians from all walks of life admire the nation's fallen heroes and highly appreciate and support efforts exerted by the police in confronting terrorism.

The minister stressed as well the ministry's keenness on interacting with the martyrs' families to honor them and offer them any support they need.
