PARIS - 27 May 2018: French President Emmanuel Macron will host an international conference on the Libyan crisis in Paris on Tuesday with a view to hold elections in Libya, according to a diplomatic source.

The gathering, to be held under the UN auspices, will bring together Libyan Prime Minister Fayez al Sarraj and the army's commander Khalifa Haftar, said the source.

Paris has already invited representatives of 19 countries including the UN Security Council members and regional powers to attend the Libyan conference.
