Arab League meets over US decision on Al Quds

CAIRO - 14 May 2018: The Arab League Council will hold an extraordinary meeting at the level of permanent delegates on Wednesday to discuss the illegal decision taken by the US as regards relocating its embassy from Tel Aviv to Jerusalem, a diplomatic source said.

The meeting comes at the request of Palestine's permanent delegate to the Arab League Diab al Louh.

President Mahmoud Abbas has called for an urgent extraordinary session of the Council of the League of Arab States at the level of permanent representatives to counter the US expected relocation of its embassy from Tel Aviv to occupied Jerusalem on Monday.
