CAIRO – 28 April 2018: Egypt’s President Abdel Fatah al-Sisi arrived on Saturday to participate in a symposium organized by the armed forces to mark the 36th anniversary of Sinai Liberation Day.

Below is a live streaming of the symposium

As Egypt celebrates the completion of the withdrawal of all Israeli military forces from Sinai in 1982, the Egyptian military is still waging a harsh war in the peninsula against terrorist groups that plagued this area in the last few years, leaving hundreds of victims among both civilians and military men.

President Sisi is also set to witness the country’s celebration of the Labor Day on Sunday. The ceremony will be organized by the Egyptian Trade Union Federation (ETUF).

During the ceremony, Sisi will deliver a speech to the Egyptian laborers who are a cornerstone of Egypt's production. He will also honor a number of great unionists who have influenced the unionist action and served labor issues.
