CAIRO - 22 April 2018: Egypt has condemned an attack launched by IS terrorist group on a voter registration center in the Afghan capital Kabul which left scores of people dead and wounded.

A statement issued by the Foreign Ministry on Sunday offered condolences to the families of the victims and wished speedy recovery for the wounded.

It asserted Egypt's support for the government and people of Afghanistan in confronting terrorism and called on the international community to take a decisive stance to dry up the financial resources of terror groups.

The suicide blast targeting the voter registration center in a Kabul neighborhood on Sunday reportedly killed at least 31 people and wounded 54 others.
