Temperatures slightly drop across Egypt on Saturday, Cairo 29°C

CAIRO – 22 April 2018: Egypt's official weather agency said that warm weather will prevail across the northern coasts of Egypt on Saturday, while warmer weather is expected over Lower Egypt and Cairo.

Hot weather is expected in Upper Egypt, with decline in temperatures throughout the night.

Dusty winds are active in the south and the Mediterranean Sea area, suggesting possible distribution to navigation.

The Mediterranean will be mild to turbulent, with a wavelength of two meters to three meters and northwesterly surface winds.

The Red will be mild, with a wavelength of one meter to 1.5 meters and southeasterly surface winds.

Low- and medium-level cloud cover is predicted for the north, accompanying light rains on northern coasts and may extend to Lower Egypt.

Egypt’s capital, Cairo, is forecast to see highs of 29 degrees Celsius (°C) and lows of 19°C.

The Sinai resort cities of Sharm El Sheikh and Hurghada are expecting highs of 33°C and 34°C, respectively, and lows of 24°C for both.

Weather in the cities along the Mediterranean coast: Alexandria 2-19 °C, and Marsa Matrouh 22-14°C.

The weather forecast for Aswan and Luxor will see highs of 42°C and lows of 23°C.

Suez and Ismailia are set to see their weather at 29°C and Assiut is to expect a high of 41°C.
