CAIRO – 10 April 2018: President Abdel Fatah al-Sisi will receive Tuesday Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Deputy Supreme Commander of the United Arab Emirates Armed Forces Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan.

UAE’s Sheikh Mohamed will pay a two-day visit to Cairo, according to presidential spokesman Bassam Radi.

In a telephone call following Sisi’s win in the presidential election, Sheikh Mohamed expressed his best wishes to the Egyptian government and people to attain further development over the coming era. He also affirmed that the UAE and Egypt enjoy strong and historical ties on both the official and public levels.

For his part, President Sisi thanked Sheikh Mohamed and commended the strong strategic cooperation between Egypt and the UAE that, he said, sets an example for strong relationships between the Arab countries.

Sisi also expressed his aspirations for continuing the cooperation between the two brotherly countries over the coming period in addressing the challenges besetting Arab national security.
