CAIRO – 10 April 2018: A delegation from the General Secretariat of the Arab League (AL) arrived Monday in Riyadh to take part in the preparatory meetings of the 29th Arab Summit that is set to kick off on Sunday in Dammam.
The delegation includes the assistant secretaries at the AL as well as the permanent representatives along with the media delegation. They are set to attend the preparatory meetings that will kick off on Tuesday in Riyadh.
The permanent representatives' meeting will be followed by a meeting at the level of the senior officials at the AL Economic and Social Council that will kick off on Wednesday.
Sessions will be concluded on Thursday by the ministerial meetings of the Economic and Social Council in addition to another meeting for the Arab foreign ministers in which they will raise draft resolutions to the Arab Summit in Dammam.
Official Arab delegations, kings, princes and leaders along with the guests who will take part in the Arab summit are scheduled to flock to Riyadh starting from Friday.
The Arab Summit will be held in Dammam on Sunday.
