CAIRO – 10 April 2018: The Cargo Village at Cairo International Airport on Monday received 382 kilograms of gold from Sukari gold mine.

Well-placed sources at the Cargo Village said the shipment arrived on board an Al Kan Air private plane from Marsa Alam to be frightened to Canada where it should be refined.

It is composed of 22 packages.

The shipment was unloaded and carried inside armored vans affiliated to Amanco Company.

Cairo airport authorities imposed tight security measures around the airport while the packages were being received.

Sukari is a gold mine located in the Eastern Desert near the Red Sea in Egypt in the south-east of the country, 30 km south of Marsa Alam.
