CAIRO – 6 April 2018: Egyptian Prosecutor General Nabil Sadek referred on Tuesday April 3 six engineers to Cairo Criminal Court on charges of bribery and corruption; two of the engineers work at Hamza Associates and the rest work at El Nasr Mining.

The engineers are accused of receiving LE 607,000 from a private real estate company. Investigations revealed that the company bribed the defendants in order to be able to provide the construction projects in Hamrawein port in Safaga with the needed tools.

The Administrative Control Authority (ACA) reported in November 2017 that sixengineers have received bribes from a private company to allow itsparticipation in the construction of Hamrawein sea port.
