Seven people killed, 11 others in road accident in Cairo

CAIRO - 3 April 2018: Seven people were killed and 11 others injured in a road accident on Qattameya-Ain Sukhna road on Tuesday.

A bus collided with a truck on the Qattameya-Ain Sukhna, Suez direction, in Cairo killing seven people and injuring 11 others, Health Ministry Spokesman Dr Khaled Megahed said.

Twelve ambulances rushed to the scene to carry the injured and the bodies to hospital he said.

The injuries range between fractures in the spinal cord, legs and arms, brain hemorrhage, cut wounds and bruises, he said, adding that the injured are receiving necessary medical care.
