CAIRO - 4 May 2017: Egypt and Belarus will enhance their relationship in industry by exchanging experiences in the field of heavy industries, according to statements after a meeting between officials from the two countries.

“We agreed on making benefit of the modern technology of Belarus in different industries,” Minister of Military Production Mohamed al-Assar told reporters following his meeting Thursday with Belarusian Minister of Industry Vitaly M. Vovk, expressing Egypt’s keenness to develop relations with Belarus.

“Belarus can also use Egypt’s strategic location in the middle of the world, and its trade agreements and its presence in the African market,” Assar added.

The two parties agreed to form a joint committee to follow up on the signed agreements.
