CAIRO – 24 March 2018: After two days of scorching heat, Egypt will witness milder weather in the upcoming two days, as temperatures are likely to fall by up to 15 degrees.

Chairman of the Meteorological Authority Ahmed Abdel-Aal announced that the scorching heatwave that hit Egypt over the past few days is over, thanks to a massive ice spike coming from South Europe.

Abdel-Aal further added that spring weather usually has temperature fluctuations; adding that the expected cold weather is short-lived and temperatures will start rising slightly starting Monday.

Citizens are recommended to wrap up warm and wear more clothes particularly during nights, he added.
