Sisi discusses Palestinian reconciliation with Palestinian President Abbas

CAIRO – 19 March: President Abdel Fatah al-Sisi telephoned Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas on Monday over the need to proceed with reconciliation efforts between the Palestinian factions.

Sisi stressed during his call the need to overcome all difficulties that stand in the way of Palestinian reconciliation.

On other side, the Palestinian President praised Egypt’s efforts in supporting Palestinian reconciliation.

The two presidents also discussed the latest developments on a number of Arab and regional issues.
