ISMAILIA - 5 March 2018: Presidential spokesman Bassam Radi confirmed that Egypt's success including its success in realizing stability and security and in combating terrorism can only be attained through the strong will of its people and their unity behind their leadership.

In a statement he gave to the national TV on the sidelines of the visit of President Abdel Fatah al-Sisi and Saudi Crown Prince, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Defense Mohammed bin Salman to a number of projects in the city of Ismailia, he said that continuing to implement and open national projects and carrying on with the Comprehensive Operation Sinai 2018 at the same time is a true embodiment of the saying "one hand doing the work and the other holding a weapon", which is the slogan of the Armed Forces and the political leadership.

Radi pointed out that the visit of the Saudi crown prince falls within the framework of the long-standing strategic and historical relationship between the two countries.

He said Egypt is the first leg of Prince Mohammed bin Salman's tour outside the kingdom, a thing which makes his visit very significant for coordination between the two sides on everything connected with the regional situation and political files.

On the Saudi investments in Egypt, the presidential spokesman said Saudi Arabia is Egypt's number one investor from the Arab world, noting that talks on further increasing the kingdom's investments in the Egyptian market have been discussed between the two sides.

The presidential spokesman concluded his remarks by stressing the compatibility and full agreement in the viewpoints between Egypt and Saudi Arabia on dealing with terrorism at all levels and increasing coordination and cooperation in fighting terrorism and extremism.
