Immigration ministry, Tahya Misr Fund sign protocol for supporting disabilities

CAIRO - 13 February 2018: Minister of State for Immigration and Egyptian Expatriates' Affairs Nabila Makram and Chief Executive Officer of Tahya Misr Fund Ibrahim Karam inked Tuesday a cooperation protocol for supporting persons with disabilities.

In her speech on the occasion, Makram said that the protocol, signed at the headquarters of the ministry, came in light of the announcement of the year 2018, as a year for the persons with special needs to show the state's care for all of them without discrimination.

Many Egyptian expatriates have expressed their desire to coordinate with Tahya Misr Fund to assist the disabled and help them live a better life, the minister added.

She also pointed out that the inked protocol came as part of efforts exerted to strengthen communication with the Egyptians abroad which makes it possible to organize support campaigns to provide financial and in-kind donations to the disabled.
