14 Hasm terrorists held 15 days pending investigations

CAIRO - 10 February 2018: First Attorney General of the Supreme State Security Prosecution Counselor Khaled Diaa Eldin ordered holding in custody 14 members of "Hasm Movement", an offshoot of the terrorist Muslim Brotherhood (MB), for 15 days pending investigations.

The defendants are accused of committing terrorist acts topped by assassinating police personnel.

They face also charges of joining a banned group that calls for suspending the state institutions' duties, attacking Armed Forces and police personnel and possessing unlicensed weapons.

Earlier, security bodies at the Interior Ministry arrested the terrorists with explosive charges and machine-guns in their possession.
