Parliament's majority bloc supports Sisi in 2018 polls

CAIRO – 20 January 2018: MP Magdi Morshed, secretary-general of Egypt Support Coalition that seizes the parliamentary majority, said his bloc supports President Abdel Fatah Al-Sisi's candidacy in the upcoming election.

He added that the coalition will use its headquarters nationwide to organize awareness campaigns and mass conferences gearing to support for the president.

The coalition’s conference will be attended by experts in several fields and the coalition’s leaders to present Sisi’s achievements during his first term in office.

President Abdel Fatah Al-Sisi announced Friday night his candidacy for a second term in the 2018 presidential election scheduled on March 26 and 28 inside Egypt.

On his Twitter account, Sisi called on the Egyptian people to participate intensively in the upcoming election and give their votes to whomever they see most eligible.
