180 Egyptians back home from Libya over past 24 hours

MARSA MATROUH, Egypt - 19 January 2018: As many as 180 Egyptians have returned home from Libya via Salloum crossing over the past 24 hours, said Marsa Matrouh Security chief Hesham Nasr on Friday.

Out of all the returnees, 25 Egyptians had illegally traveled to Libya, while 155 were legal, he noted.

Meanwhile, travel procedures for 901 people, including 170 Egyptians and 731 Libyans, have been finalized, he added.

As many as 97 trucks laden with goods, food supplies and construction materials left for Libya, while 121 trucks arrived at the terminal to be loaded with Egyptian goods, he further said.
