81 killed, injured in twin blasts in central Baghdad

BAGHDAD - 15 January 2018: About 81 persons were killed and injured in twin blasts in Central Baghdad, said Iraqi Interior Ministry on Alsumaria news Monday.

In a statement, the Iraqi Interior Ministry's spokesperson, Saad Maan, said two suicide bombers blew themselves up in Al Tayaran Square, leaving 16 persons dead and 65 others injured.

Body parts were scattered near the site of the explosions, he added.
