CAIRO - 15 January 2018: Presidential spokesman Bassam Radi said on Monday that national mega projects that were launched four years ago are now bearing fruit.

The projects being opened today by President Abdel Fatah al-Sisi in Menoufiya governorate, come as part of the country's development strategy, the spokesman told DMC channel.

The new projects include two factories, one for steel iron and another for textiles.

There is a major boom in all State sectors, the spokesman said, adding that citizens began to sense the fruits of these projects.

He said Sisi is keen on following up the performance of the government and the implementation rate of development projects.

Radi said the implementation rate of projects is unprecedented compared with the past thirty years.

The spokesman said the president is opening new projects across Egypt almost every week through video-conferences.

The current strategy of the country is based on upgrading all sectors, mobilizing the society's potentials and pushing forward development march to achieve hoped-for progress, he added.
