CAIRO - 8 January 2018: Foreign Minister Sameh Shoukry discussed on Monday with Irish Minister for Foreign Affairs and Trade Simon Coveney means to boost bilateral ties in the different domains.

Both ministers will hold a press conference after their meeting and they also tackled international and regional issues of mutual interest.

Coveney, who is also the Irish Deputy Prime Minister, arrived in Cairo on the first leg of a four-day tour in the Middle East also including al Quds, Ramallah and the Gaza Strip.

Coveney said that Ireland pays great attention to the peace process in the Middle East.
