TUNIS - 30 December 2017: The Tunisian Ministry of Foreign Affairs on Saturday strongly condemned yesterday's terrorist attack on Mar Mina church in Cairo district of Helwan, which left several people dead and injured.

In a statement, the ministry slammed targeting places of worship and expressed sympathy with the families of the victims.

It reiterated Tunisia's support to Egypt in its efforts to combat such serious threat and maintain its security and stability.

"Tunisia renews its call for maintaining regional and international efforts as well as enhancing coordination to fight terrorism which threatens security and stability of the countries in the region and the whole world", the ministry added.
