Iran's destabilization of region has to be confronted -- Macron

PARIS - 25 December 2017: French President Emmanuel Macron stressed the importance of confronting the Iranian destabilization of the Middle East region, Al Arabiya news channel reported Sunday.

During a phone call with Saudi King Salman Bin Abdulaziz, Macron said France stands with Saudi Arabia against any security threat.

He also expressed his country's rejection of Iranian destructive role and its support for Houthi militias, thanking Saudi Arabia for its role in confronting terrorism.
