TRIPOLI– 23 December 2017: The media advisor of Libyan Anti-Illegal Immigration Authority (AIIA) Milad al Saadi stressed there are now about 700,000 illegal migrants in the country.

All the illegal migrants aspire to reach Europe at any expense, Russia Today news channel quoted Saadi as saying.

He underlined that the Libyan authorities managed to deport 13,000 illegal migrants in cooperation with the International Organization for Migration (IOM) since the beginning of this year.

The Arab and African countries are the most to cooperate with the AIIA, Saadi reiterated, adding that 265 migrants will be deported to Morocco next week in coordination with the kingdom's authorities.
