CAIRO – 23 December 2017: President Abdel Fatah al-Sisi's re-election signature-collection campaign, A’lashan Nbneha (To Build It), organizes a press conference on Sunday to announce the total number of signatures obtained by the campaign to date.

Launched in mid-September, ‘To Build It’ aims to collect signatures in support of President Sisi, urging him to run for a second term as the Head of State.

The campaign started its international tour in early December to promote Sisi’s achievements abroad, during his first term as president.

In June 2014, President Sisi came to power in the aftermath of the June 30, 2013 popular uprising which toppled former Muslim Brotherhood affiliated President Mohammed Morsi.
