CAIRO – 19 December 2017: Under the slogan “We stand with the army and police against terrorism”, the Junior Journalists front, belonging to the Press Syndicate, is organizing an undated public rally at the syndicate’s headquarters.

Head of the Junior Journalists front, Haitham Tawala, said in press remarks, “Journalists are part of the social fabric of this homeland, and we are not detached from the scene. We are consistently standing behind ‘our heroes’ from the armed forces and police through the power of the pen.”

Tawala further explained that the conference is aimed at remedying the negative image falsely created about Egypt in foreign media outlets and fighting the misrepresentation of the facts around Egypt’s war on terror, which are propagated by the elements of the outlawed Muslim Brotherhood, who are averse to the progression and prosperity of the Egyptian state.
