ISLAMABAD - 17 November 2017: Attackers detonated a bomb and opened fire on worshippers inside a Christian church in southwestern Pakistan on Sunday, killing at least one person and wounding several others, officials said.

Sarfraz Bugti, the home minister, said two gunmen stormed into the church in Quetta city when Sunday services had just opened, exploding a bomb and shooting at the worshippers.

Police and army troops had surrounded the church and were exchanging fire with the attackers, he said.
