Egypt, EU launch first round of institutional dialogue on migration

CAIRO - 16 December 2017: Minister of Foreign Affairs Sameh Shoukry held a meeting on Saturday with European commissioner for migration, home affairs and citizenship Dimitris Avramopoulos, currently on a visit to Cairo.

The two sides launched during their meeting the first round of Egypt-EU institutional dialogue on migration.

The meeting held at the foreign ministry headquarters, touched on migration issues and their impact in addition to the major role played by Egypt to confront illegal immigration.
