WASHINGTON - 14 December 2017: Daesh terrorist group on Thursday has threatened attacks in the US in response to President Donald Trump’s announcement to recognize Jerusalem as Israel’s capital.

Daesh said in a Telegram Messenger post that it planned to conduct attacks and included photos of New York City’s Times Square and a bomb, the Hill reported.

"We will do more ops in your land, until the final hour and we will burn you with the flames of war which you started in Iraq, Yemen, Libya and Syria and Afghan. Just you wait,” the message read.

"The recognition of Trump Jerusalem as the capital of Israel will make us recognize explosives as the capital of your country", the message added.

Trump last week announced that the US would officially recognize Jerusalem as the capital of Israel and said he would put plans in motion to move the US embassy there from Tel Aviv.
