CAIRO - 11 December 2017: The urgent session of the pan-Arab Parliament kicked off Monday at the headquarters of the Arab League in Cairo to discuss the repercussions of US President Donald Trump's decision to move the American embassy from Tel Aviv to Jerusalem.

The meeting will held upon a request from Arab Parliament Speaker Mishaal bin Fahm al Salami, the session is attended by Arab League Chief Ahmed Abul Gheit along with Palestinian Minister of Foreign Affairs Riyad al Malki.

The parliament is set to issue a resolution - at the end of its session - reflecting Arabs views regarding the latest US move that contradicts all international resolution on the historic and legal status of Jerusalem.

In a recent statement, Arab Parliament speaker deemed the US decision a blatant challenge of all international resolutions related to the Palestinian Cause.
