CAIRO - 10 December 2017: “Alashan Tbneeha” (To Build It), a public campaign supporting President Abdel Fatah al-Sisi to run for a second term as President of Egypt held a big conference in the United Arab Emirates on Saturday.

The conference was attended by a large number of parliamentarians and Egyptian expats in the UAE, and discussed President Sisi’s achievements during his four-year tenure. A big number of participants signed petitions to support President Sisi's decision to run for a second term.

Earlier this month, the campaign went on a 10-day tour in Europe to meet Egyptian nationals and communities abroad. The tour included France, Switzerland, Denmark and Sweden, where campaign members demonstrated the campaign's goal and the achievements that the Egyptian leader accomplished despite the numerous challenges encountered by the country.

The founders of "To Build It,” which kicked off in September, announced in October that over three million Egyptians signed the "To Build It" petition. They also launched applications for expatriate Egyptians abroad to collect their signatures on the campagin's official website (https://www.tibneehaa.org/?page_id=1793).

Abdel Fatah al-Sisi is the sixth president of Egypt. He came to office on June 2014 after the revolution of June 30, which toppled former President Mohamed Morsi, who is affiliated with the now-banned Muslim Brotherhood.
