CAIRO – 7 December 2017: Palestinian Fattah leader and Political analyst Ayman al-Raqab stated Thursday that the third uprising will be staged after U.S. President Donald Trump's recognition of Jerusalem as the Israeli capital.

"Masses of Palestinian people will come out in the coming hours and days to denounce and reject Trump’s resolution," Raqab stated.

He added that US is no longer a fair sponsor of the peace process, but an enemy, stressing that the Arab countries should take a swift action against Trump’s resolution.
All Palestinian factions should cooperate and coordinate against US and Israel.

Earlier, the powerful Palestinian Islamist group Hamas called for a new uprising against Israel after U.S. President Donald Trump's recognition of Jerusalem as the Israeli capital, according to reuters

"We should call for and we should work on launching an intifada in the face of the Zionist enemy," Hamas leader Ismail Haniyeh said in a speech in Gaza.

United States President Donald Trump has officially recognized Jerusalem as the capital of Israel Wednesday during a televised speech from the White House, Washington D.C.

"It is the headquarters of many government ministries. For many years, visiting American diplomats met their Israeli counterparts in Jerusalem… It is now the heart of one of the most successful democracies in the world," Trump has stated during his speech Wednesday.
