CAIRO – 5 December 2017: Yusuf Al-Qaradawi, secretary-general of the International Union of Muslim Scholars (IUMS), said that the murder of former Yemeni President Ali Abdullah Saleh is a "lesson."

The murder of Saleh by the Houthis, to whom he handed over power against the will of the Yemeni people, so that he can regain power at the end, is a "lesson" that no matter what skills a wizard has, his magic will always be counterproductive.

The IUMS was designated a terrorist organization by the Arab Quartet on November 25.
The IUMS Head Yusuf al-Qaradawi has been charged by the Egyptian government with agreement, incitement and assistance to commit premeditated murder.
