Assets of 19 MB-affiliated elements’ confiscated

CAIRO – 1 December 2017: The state-led committee for managing Muslim Brotherhood funds confiscated the assets of fourteen Muslim Brotherhood (MB) members and nineteen MB-owned companies.

Top Muslim Brotherhood leader Essam el Erian’s children were amongst those whose assets were confiscated, including the following names: Aya Allah Abdel Fattah Annan, Omar Ahmed Jaber Ibrahim El Haj , Ahmed Jaber Ibrahim Mohamed El Hajj, Yasser Jaber Ibrahim Mohamed El Hajj , Sameh Hassan Mohamed El-Mahdi, Fatima Fadl Sayed Rizk, Mohamed Abdel Nasser Fouad Sakr, Mohamed Osama Shams El Din Raslan, Omar Mohamed Gamal El Din Mohamed Thabet Tawfiq and Mohamed Taj El Din Hassan Hussein Shalaby.

The committee assigned Akhbar al-Youm Investment Company to manage the following MB-owned companies: Back Line Industrial Development Company, 3M Engineering Industries, Logic Company for Fire Fighting Technology and Islamic Printing and Publishing House.

Other MB-owned companies included Andalusia Real Estate Investments, Andalusia Hotel, Matrouh Company for financial and sports games, Al-Andalus and Hejaz Real Estate Investments company, Andalus and Hegaz company for maintenance and reconstruction work, Andalus and Hegaz for Real Estate and Marketing Services, Al-Andalus and Hegaz Tourism Development Company, Egyptian Qatari Company, Al Tayseer Company, Kimat trading and construction company and Blue Lagoon Hotel.
