CAIRO – 28 November 2017: The seminar which is organized by the Information and Decision Support Center of the Prime Minister Council kicks off on Tuesday.

A large number of specialists and researchers from Egypt and China are participating in the seminar which is organized by the Embassy of China in Cairo.

The seminar was opened by Hossam Al Jamal, Chairman of the Information and Decision Support of Prime Minster Council and attended by China’s Ambassador to Cairo Song Aiguo.

The seminar aims to discuss ways to further enhance the Egyptian-Chinese relations which have positively improved over the past two years in the fields of trade, economy and politics. Also, the “Belt and Road” initiative, announced by the Chinese government, aims at reviving and developing the historic Silk Road.

Moreover, Assistant to the President of the Republic for Strategic and National Projects, Ibrahim Mahlab, said in his speech on Nov. 6, that the Egyptian-Chinese relations are strong, unique and sustainable.

He invited the Chinese companies to boost their investments in Egypt, saying that China implements several projects in Egypt, including establishing the business district in the New Administrative Capital and the electric train project.
