CAIRO - 21 November 2017: The Council of Arab Ministers of Justice holds its 33rd session on Thursday at the headquarters of the Arab League (AL) under UAE Justice Minister, upon an invitation from Secretary General Ahmed Abul Gheit.

According to a press release by the AL on Tuesday, the meeting of the Arab justice ministers came at a time when the Arab region witnesses major challenges in the field of fighting organized crimes and terrorism.

Before this meeting, the Executive Office of the Arab Justice Ministers Council will hold its 61st meeting on Wednesday, in order to prepare draft resolutions to be submitted to the council.

The Executive Office of the Arab Justice Ministers Council includes Jordan, Saudi Arabia, Iraq, Qatar, Kuwait, Mauritania and Comoros.

This session is an important step to boost the Arab and international cooperation in the legal and judicial domains and will discuss activation of the Arab conventions, regarding fighting terrorism, corruption and the organized crime and upgrading the Riyadh Arab Agreement for Judicial Cooperation.
