We still hope for diplomacy with Pyongyang - Tillerson

WASHINGTON - 21 November 2017: US Secretary of State Rex Tillerson said Monday Washington is still hopeful for diplomacy with North Korea, the US-funded Radio Sawa reported.

The fresh comments were made after US President Donald Trump declared North Korea a state sponsor of terrorism earlier in the day.

"We still hope for diplomacy," Tillerson told a White House press conference.

He added that the decision to put North Korea back on the blacklist is part of the "peaceful pressure campaign" against the regime.
