BAGHDAD– 18 November 2017: A 4.4- magnitude earthquake hit on Saturday morning southern Sulaymaniyah governorate in Iraq's Kurdistan.

The quake triggered fear among Sulaymaniyah residents, pushing many of them to flee homes, Iraqi channel Alsumaria News reported.

A stronger earthquake jolted Sulaymaniyah last Sunday, leaving several dead and injured.
