CAIRO – 16 November 2017: The Arab League will organize an international workshop on Sunday under the rubric "together for facing extremism and promoting dialogue" in the presence of Arab League's Assistant Secretary General for Social Affairs Ambassador Badr el Din Alali.

The two-day workshop is organized in light of an initiative of the Arab League in cooperation with the UNESCO, al Azhar's Dialogue Center and the World Association for al Azhar Graduate, according to an AL statement on Thursday.

More than 50 youth from Arab and foreign countries will take part in the event, the statement added.

The workshop aims at encouraging youth to support multiculturalism, joint dialogue and mutual understanding via raising their awareness on the importance of the dialogue among different cultures on important issues that threaten international peace and security especially terrorism.

The event also aims at empowering youth and increasing their awareness on the right understanding of the divine religions.
