10 MB members sentenced to 3 years in prison for inciting violence

CAIRO – 16 November 2017: Zagazig Criminal Court sentenced on Thursday 10 elements affiliated to the Muslim Brotherhood to three years in prison on charges of inciting violence in Sharqia City.


Twenty other defendants were sentenced to 10 years in prison in absentia.


In 2016, the prosecution had charged the suspects with joining terrorist organizations, organizing an inciting march against state institutions, sabotage, and obstructing traffic.
