AP takes part in 4th conference of young MPs in Canada

CAIRO – 16 November 2017: The Arab Parliament (AP) will take part in the Fourth Global Conference of Young Parliamentarians, which is organized annually by the Inter-Parliamentary Union.

The two-day event will kick off on Friday in the Canadian capital Ottawa.

The conference will discuss means of supporting and empowering young leaders to play a greater role in the political and social life, the Arab Parliament said in a statement.

The conference will also tackle efforts exerted by the Arab Parliament to promote the role played by youth in the Arab world, the statement read.
