ASWAN - 15 November 2017: The State Security Court in Aswan on Wednesday released 24 defendants from Nubia area who were held over charges of taking part in illegal protests several weeks ago.

The court also postponed issuing a verdict in the case to December 12 while referring the whole case to another court.

Aswan Attorney General Counselor Khamis Eid had referred the defendants to the criminal court over charges of blocking public roads and chanting slogans against the state along with receiving funds.
