Tunis,– 10 November 2017: Tunisian President Beji Caid Essebsi discussed Friday with his Prime Minister Youssef Chahed the agenda of the 16th session of the joint higher Egyptian-Tunisian committee, which will be held on Saturday and Sunday in Cairo.

The committee meetings will shed light on ways of boosting cooperation between both countries in various fields.

Essebsi and Chahed took up a program to revive Tunisia's economy and ways of boosting development in the country during the coming year, according to a statement issued by the Tunisian presidential office.

They also discussed measures to protect the consumer from overpricing of products.
