CAIRO – 9 November 2017: President Abdel Fatah al-Sisi received on Thursday the French Foreign Affairs Minister Jean-Yves Le Drian in Sharm El Sheikh at the World Youth Forum (WYF). Both attended the Model United Nations (MUN) closing sessions on the forum’s last day.

The president praised the development and growth of the distinguished Egyptian-French relations on all aspects which was reflected during his recent visit to the French capital Paris. He also expressed his gratitude for the minister’s eagerness to attend the WYF.


On October 23, President Sisi arrived in Paris for a three-day visit to France where he met with his French counterpart Emmanuel Macron; signing a number of memoranda of understanding (MoUs) and agreements worth €400 million, in a bid to boost bilateral cooperation between both countries.
