CAIRO - 6 November 2017: Chairman of the Administrative Control Authority Mohammed Irfan on Monday said that the country's leadership supports the governmental bodies to fight corruption.

Egypt was one of the first countries that signed the United Nations Convention against Corruption, Irfan added.

He made the remarks in his speech to the Conference of the States Parties to the United Nations Convention against Corruption, held in Vienna, Austria.

Egypt is on the right track in terms of fighting corruption in the reign of President Abdel Fatah al-Sisi, Irfan said, pointing out that a strong economic reform program was adopted after Sisi has assumed power.
