ADEN - 5 November 2017: A booby-trapped car went off near the security administration premises of the legitimate government in Khor Mkasar district in Aden in southern the country, Al Arabiya Al Hadath reported.

No further details have been available on the explosion so far.

The explosion comes in the wake of a series of violent blasts that took place on Saturday night as a result of a shelling carried out by the Arab coalition forces on Houthi rebels strongholds in Yemen.

Field sources said the shelling targeted a military camp in Fag Attan district, al Nahdeen military camp and other hideouts for the rebels.

The raids come in the wake of Houthi firing a ballistic missile on the Saudi capital Riyadh. Saudi defense forces repelled the attack that targeted King Khaled International Airport, with no damage reported.
