CAIRO – 1 November 2017: Belgian Ambassador to Egypt Sibille de Cartier inaugurated a photo exhibition in the Egyptian Museum in Cairo Tuesday evening, celebrating “150 years of Belgian royal visits to Egypt.”

Cartier ensured at the exhibition’s opening, in the presence of Egyptian Minister of Antiquities Khaled Al-Anany, the deep relations between the two countries that started about 160 years ago.

Anany said that the relations between the two countries include fields like tourism, economy and antiquities. A number of ambassadors to Egypt, head of Parliament's Culture, Media and Antiquities Committee Osama Heikal and Egyptian writer Lamis Gaber attended the opening.

In a meeting with Minister of Investment Sahar Nasr last June, Cartier expressed the willingness of Belgian companies in Egypt to boost investment in the country.
