CAIRO – 31 October 2017: The CEO of Egyptian Steel, Egyptian Cement and Egyptian and Egyptian Media, Ahmed Abu Hashima, inaugurated on Tuesday 50 apartment buildings in Minya’ Dandara village after restoration works wrapped up.

The renovation works serve as part of the Egyptian Steel National Company’s nationwide initiative to contribute to the restoration of Egypt’s underprivileged villages. It was initially launched in 2014 and in collaboration with Orman charity association.

Apart from the renovation of the housing infrastructure, the project also focused on power and water services, furniture, appliances and decorations. The total project cost LE six million.

The project also included giving soon-to-be-married women with trousseaus, compensatory gadgets to people with special needs as well as the distribution of 50 cattle amongst the villagers along with a monthly food insurance provided by Orman charity association.
